Beach volleyball training at Tyršák with Tina Turner

Regular training sessions kick off at Tyršák, led by former Slovak national beach volleyball player Tina Turnerová, who has been running her own TT Beach Volley Academy for over 30 years.
Whether you're a beginner or already have some games under your belt, just show up.

At the training you can:
- improve your technique
- learn the game skills (pass, set, spike, serve, block and defense)
- get to know the rules and tactics of beach volleyball
Sessions are also held in English
Entry is free. You can come without registering.
Bring your own ball or borrow one at the bar.
Tyršák has two beach volleyball courts available.

Court reservations

Two beach volleyball courts are available at Tyršák. Just come and play with your friends. Volleyballs can be borrowed from the bar staff.
Court reservation is €5 per hour, VAT included.
All proceeds from the season go to athletes with intellectual disabilities from Special Olympics Slovakia.

The Tyršák story

Tyršák was created on the initiative of the event agency INSTITUTE OF PROMOTION, which has been producing events and projects for brands, organisations and the public for more than 20 years.

The agency decided to transform a previously unused space on the right bank of the Danube into a lively summer spot by the river. During the development of the project, the team also built on its experience with a similar summer project on the Danube riverfront.

Over time, Tyršák has developed into a beach concept that combines music, sports, culture, discussions and a relaxed summer atmosphere with views of the Bratislava skyline. Today it is a popular meeting place for both locals and visitors to the city.

Tyršák is one of the agency's own projects — a space where it brings its full experience to life each summer.

Partnership

Tyršák offers a unique open-air venue on the banks of the Danube for brand partnerships, corporate events and brand activation projects targeting an urban audience in the centre of Bratislava.
